V5

V5

  • Polyethylene – 22kg $1900
  • Performance – 16kg $3600
  • Ultra – 12.5kg $4500

The Epic V5 is available in two lightweight composite layups, the Ultra and Performance, as well as the extremely durable Rotomolded layup which is proving a huge hit in the paddling community.

This ski gives you excellent stability and allows beginners to jump on and paddle with confidence and gives the more experienced paddlers a short, stable surfski to use in waves and extra rough conditions. Sleek lines and Epic’s comfortable surfski cockpit make the V5 perfect to learn downwind paddling.

The V5 composite is lighter in weight and is even easier to carry to and from the water and unload from your roof of your car.

The V5 comes standard with under hull rudder, adjustable foot brace (including pedals that automatically adjust line length), rear storage compartment, bow and stern handles, center carry handles, water bottle holder and Epic’s patented bailer. An optional stern kick up rudder can be added to the Rotomolded version with no modifications needed to allow the V5 to be paddled in shallow or rocky areas.

V6

V6

  • Performance – 17.7 kg $4,000
  • Ultra – 14.5 kg $5,000

The Epic V6 is unique in its class. It has a surfski cockpit with the storage capacity of a touring kayak. It also has extremely good shallow water capability with the kick up rudder system also borrowed from Epic’s touring kayak range.

The goal with the Epic V6 is to provide a boat that bridges the gap between sea kayaks and surfskis. By blending speed, high stability and a performance oriented deck & outfitting, the V6 offers new levels of accessibility and opportunity. Touring kayakers looking to make the transition to high performance surf skis for racing in the Sea Kayak class, or looking for a simple, efficient boat with storage capacity for touring, fitness or the freedom of an open cockpit will be well rewarded with the V6.

This is a surfski/ touring kayak hybrid that almost every paddler should be able master very quickly. The cockpit is the same as the V8 surfski and features a fully adjustable foot brace and a bottle holder. The deck has rear deck bungees, safety lines, and also incorporates bow, stern, and side carry handles. The Epic bailer, breather tube and the patented Trackmaster Plus kick up rudder system are also featured.

In addition, it features an aft storage compartment with a waterproof hatch that puts the V7 in a class of its own.

It offers similar stability to the V8 with the increased durability of a polyethylene kayak. Its capability can be further enhanced with the optional kick up rudder with no modification needed. This combination allows the V7 to be paddled in areas where other composites cannot.

V10 Gen 3

V10 Gen 3

This boat has been melded with the highly acclaimed 2017 edition V12, it is a nimble surfing boat for advanced paddlers, that doesn’t require elite level stability skills.

The original Epic V10 introduced many user-friendly advances that are now common on top surfskis. The single footwell and adjustable foot brace with self-adjusting pedals which are all V10 innovations!

The Gen 3 V10 has increased rocker and modified seat placement. The length is reduced to 6.25m. Stability is similar to the Gen 2 V10 which feels rock solid for advanced paddlers in a variety of conditions.

The ergonomic cockpit facilitates easy remounting, and the adjustable Epic bailer keeps your ride dry. The new V10 seat is barely wider than the V12 seat yet still narrow enough to feel secure for average to smaller paddlers. The under-knee hump is reduced for improved leg drive as well.
